Provides a non-denominational worship experience...

South Shore Praise combines values of faith with contemporary, modern Christian music to provide a non-denominational worship experience.  The Praise Events are open to everyone, but are designed principally for residents of the various South Shore communities.  South Shore Praise offers an alternative worship style that is joyful, evocative, and pleasing to God.  It also provides a spiritual and insightful worship experience for individuals who are not comfortable in a traditional denominational setting.  With broad appeal to all ages, cultures, and diversities, South Shore Praise offers a fruitful and rewarding pathway to God's love and joy.

The South Shore Praise Team consists of members of the Youth Praise Band at First Baptist Church of Braintree.  One of its co-leaders is Steve Morrison, a Braintree High School graduate who is a freshman at Eastern Nazarene College, where he studies music.  In addition to singing, Steve plays guitar and keyboard.  The other co-leader is Matt Mahagan, a senior at Braintree High School.  He plays bass.  Matt has been accepted to Northeastern University where he plans to major in electrical engineering.  In addition to Steve and Matt, there are three vocalists, another guitarist, and a drummer, making a total of seven members on the South Shore Praise Team
