First Church values the spiritual growth and development of children and youth.  Through the children's time in worship, the Sunday school program, and special family events throughout the year we seek to help our children cultivate a personal relationship with God.

This September we welcomed the newest member of our ministry staff, Molly Nason.  Molly is the Director of Children's Ministries at First Church and brings with her infectious enthusiasm and an incredible ability to relate to children and young people.

Also beginning in September 2011, we are excited to introduce a brand new curriculum for our children called One Room Schoolhouse.  This series presents the stories of the Bible in a dynamic way that caters to a variety of learning styles and age groups.  

Our Sunday school meets each Sunday during 9:30 worship.  The children begin in worship, listen to the Children's Message, and then are dismissed to their classrooms.


Nursery Care for younger children is available during worship, beginning at 9:30 a.m.
