Weddings at First Congregational Church

Fees and Information:
Please contact the church office as soon as you have chosen a date and time for your wedding.  The church office hours are 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.  In fairness to the church, minister, and musician please notify the church office as soon as possible if your wedding plans change.

It is the couple’s responsibility to schedule an appointment with the Pastor four to six months before the wedding.  The Pastor will conduct at least two pre-marital sessions with the couple prior to the rehearsal.

First Congregational Church (use of building):
            Church Member: No Charge
            Non Church Member:  $500; $200 of which should be sent as    
            soon as possible to reserve the church
On the day of the wedding, separate checks made payable to:
            First Congregational Church:  $300
            Rev. Michael Frady:  $400
            Music Director:  $250*
            Sexton/Custodian:  $100

*Our Music Director/Organist is available as a first option for weddings.  If the couple would like to have an organist or musician other than our own, a bench fee will apply.   The couple is also responsible for paying the musician of their own choosing.  
Total Church Member:  $750 with church organist
                                    
Total Non-Member:    $1,250 with church organist
                                            
Other helpful information about First Congregational Church of Braintree:

• The aisle is 75 feet long

• There are 20 pews on either side of the aisle

• Sanctuary seats 300 comfortably
